got its hands on a single photo of an upcoming ASUS ROG series motherboard for the Intel Cascade Lake-X HEDT platform. Possibly named ROG DOMINUS, the name that was used for a prototype earlier this year, this photo reveals what appears to be an E-ATX sized motherboard.
With this Cascade Lake-X product you get an LGA3647 socket, six-channel memory, four PCIe x16 slots, and a couple of M.2 slots (which are covered by a huge heatsink).
ASUS’ new HEDT motherboard, which is equipped with dual 24-pin power connectors, was designed for Cascade-Lake-X architecture, Intel’s long-awaited response to AMD Ryzen Threadripper.
