So not a lot of surprises here as most of the information already leaked earlier this week. AMD just introduced its Radeon RX 590, this card is based on the 12nm FinFET Polaris 30 GPU. The number of stream processors remains the same, but this model has a much higher frequency. You now get a 1469MHz base clock and a 1545MHz Boost.

Lots of reviews just hit the web. The conclusion seems to be that the Radeon RX 590 is about 10-12 percent faster than the Radeon RX 580. This extra performance comes at the cost of increased power consumption, as 12nm is more of a new stepping rather than a shrink. All the improvements went to increasing the clockspeed, and this results in performance per Watt that's significantly worse than the previous Polaris cards. On a percentage-basis, power consumption increased harder than the gains seen in performance. A system with the Radeon RX 590 easily consumes over 100W more than a system with the somewhat slower GeForce GTX 1060, which can now be found for $249.99.

All this for $279 but the card also comes with the "Raise the Game Fully Loaded" bundle, which includes Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 2, and Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
