ATI claims its Radeon X1800XT will be significantly faster than NVIDIA's GeForce 7800 GTX.

The Inquirer says they have seen charts from ATI which claim the R520XT will be as much ninety percent faster in the F.E.A.R. demo, almost forty percent faster in Battlefield two and as much as twenty five percent faster in Far Cry.

In other games like Splinter Cell and Painkiller the card will be less than twenty percent faster than the GeForce 7800 GTX. ATI also doesn't mention other games, like Half Life 2.

By the way, keep in mind that these scores are said to come directly from ATI. It's better to wait until we get some independent reviews on ATI's new generation video cards.
