Python founder takes up a job at Microsoft

Guido van Rossum, the inventor of the Python programming language, announced on Twitter that he's coming out of retirement. The Dutch software engineer has joined Microsoft's Developer Division as Distinguished Engineer. It's unknown what he will be working on at Microsoft, van Rossum hints in his tweet that it will be related to open source development.
