NVIDIA to launch GeForce 6800 GS

We already got lots of GeForce 6 series cards and today the The Inquirer reports NVIDIA will add one more to counter ATI's X1600.

This will be the GeForce 6800 GS, a 110nm chip produced by TSMC. It will perform like the GeForce 6800 GT and will have a 256-bit memory interface.
ATI's X1600XT and PRO cards feature a 128-bit memory interface while Nvidia is positioning 256-bit cards against. We are quite sure that Nvidia will add some additional pressure on ATI mainstream sales.
The GeForce 6800GS cards will be available within weeks.
