Memory bandwith and capacities discussed

Legion Hardware has published an article about memory bandwidth and capacities.
After recently spending a lot of time comparing 1GB and 2GB dual-channel memory kits in an effort to learn which configuration offered the best bang for you buck, many other questions and ideas arose. Currently I believe 1GB of memory is still the sweet spot for most gamers as it’s a perfect balance of price vs. performance. However, avid Battlefield 2 players will probably agree that there is a need for 2GB of system memory when playing this game. Gamers that play other massively multiplayer games will also see benefits from the larger 2GB memory capacity.
