Review : Logitech MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse

Posted on Saturday, October 26 2002 @ 10:53:27 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Bitbender Forums made a review of the wireless and optical Logitech MX700 :
The MX700 has an odd yet very stylish design. The last cordless mouse I owned came with the Logitech Cordless Freedom, which had a cordless keyboard and a cordless mouse, with a ball on the bottom, which is really old, and very simple in design. The first thing I noticed when I held the MX700 up was the LED pulses just like a heart beat in low power mode, instead of the constant bright beam that goes into high power, then back to low power mode like my MS IntelliOptical. The similarity is that the MX700 has a red beam like the IntelliOptical. I thought maybe Logitech would go w/ the blue beam they used in their MouseMan Optical series. But I guess the color of the beam doesn't really matter if mouse performs well.
