AA & AF in Mafia with a Radeon 9700

Posted on Monday, October 28 2002 @ 11:17:33 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Check this out , this shows the huge difference between no AA & AF and 6x AA & 16x AF :
Everyone must have heard of the revolutionairy settings called anti-aliasing (AA) and anisotropic filtering (AF). Today, I've decided to test those settings on my ATI Radeon 9700 pro and create screenshots of the game Mafia in the exact same scene with the settings at it's lowest (no AA & no AF), and at it's highest (6x AA & 16x AF).
