Mass production of AM OLED panels to start in 2H 2006

Mass production of active-matrix OLED panels at Taiwanese OLED makers will start in the second half of next year, according to the companies.
>br> South Korean giant Samsung says its AM OLED volume production will start in 2007, with annual capacity to be increased from 20 million units in 2007 to 50 million units in 2008.

Samsung also recently unveiled world's first 40-inch AM OLED TV.
