Dell to launch 30-inch 3007WFP LCD display

Engadget reports Dell is going to launch a huge new 30-inch LCD display to compete with Apple's 30-inch Cinema Display.

The Dell 3007WFP LCD display features a huge 2560 x 1600 WQXGA resolution, a fast 14ms response time, 400cd/m2 brightness, 700:1 contrast ratio, support for HDCP (meaning this display is Windows Vista ready), a built-in 4-port USB hub and a 9-in-1 multimedia card reader.

The display will be available on December 21st in North America. Details regarding the price aren't available but it will be quite expensive of course.
