Research firm IDC predicts the PC market will slow down a bit compared to 2004 or 2005, but says it will still be a double-digit growth.
Low-cost and portable PCs will continue to drive the PC market through 2006, with growth of 10.5 percent expected for next year, according to a report issued Tuesday.

However, PC market growth will be slower than in 2004 or 2005, according to a report by the research firm IDC. In comparison, the annual growth rate of worldwide PC shipments was 15.3 percent in 2004 and 15.8 percent in 2005.
More details over here. In 2006 it's expected 229.5 million PCs will ship, compared to 207.7 million in 2005 and 179.4 million in 2004.
