Review : Pcmods Blue Cold Cathode And Ultramarine EL Cable

Posted on Saturday, November 16 2002 @ 16:05:47 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

modtown has reviewed 2 things from Pcmods ; the Blue Cold Cathode and the Ultramarine EL Cable :
In the box you only get one length of EL cable but PCMODS sell the lengths of EL cable on their own so you don’t have to buy the full kit again. Once you have assembled the kit, shut down your pc and connect the Molex connector and switch your pc back on again and admire the glow..."

"The light tube itself is covered in a 100% acrylic tube to add extra strength and reduce the chance of it getting damaged. On either end is an acrylic block this gives support and adds a nice flat mounting surface, the way the Cold Cathode is fixed to the case is easy on the acrylic blocks is some Velcro, this is so you can remove it if you need to work on your case then its just a case of pushing it back on later."
