Gamescom 2009 boothbabes and video game characters

    Sega and Nintendo mascots
Mario and Sonic are buddies these days, and they were strolling around Gamescom to promote Sega's upcoming Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.

The presentation of this game at Sega's booth was pretty unique, there were guys dressed up as Santa, girls dressed up as angels, a big Christmas tree and a huge snow globe to create a X-mas feeling. What a contrast to the baking hot weather outside (well over 30°C that day)!

Fujitsu Celsius ULTRA gaming PC boothbabes
Fujitsu was at Gamescom to promote their new high-end Celsius ULTRA gaming PCs, their boothbabes were dressed up in army suits.

    Sackboy at Sony booth
Over at Sony's Playstation booth I spotted Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet.

    BioWare's R2-D2
And near the Star Wars: The Old Republic booth was a small R2-D2 robot

SouthPeak Interactive brings out the heavy guns
Before we return to photos of the boothbabes, here's a picture of a guy wearing futuristic full-body armor and shielding from Section 8, an upcoming FPS game for the PC and Xbox 360.
