Mitron HDD Vibration Damper Kit Review

Posted on Friday, February 27 2004 @ 19:52:30 CET by LSDsmurf

The silicon bars are easy to install to the hard drive, just screw them on. But then, if you want to put the hard disk (with the vibration damper on it) into your 5.25” bay, you’ve got to push so hard that even the paint on the inside of my drive cage came off. Also pay attention to the type of case you’ve got, because with some cases it's possible that the hard drive now blocks a part of the motherboard thus making some connectors inaccessible.
