Richard from Camcorderinfo checked out the new DCR-DVD 403 camcorder from Sony. Here's the short introduction from his review:

PC Mag and PC World have just released their reviews of the Sony DCR-DVD403 DVD camcorder, which CCI reviewed here. They generally agree with CCI: it’s a great camcorder that shoots good looking video, but it ain’t cheap and you can perhaps get better quality if you spend a similar amount on a MiniDV model instead. DISCLOSURE: I wrote the PC World review, so I can’t really say anything rude about it without sounding insane.
