XFX XGear Headset With Vibration Function Review

Posted on Thursday, September 29 2005 @ 16:01:40 CEST by LSDsmurf

HardwareSecrets.com took a look on XFX's forthcoming headset with microphone and vibration function.

Usually we do not write about loudspeakers and headset products, but this new headset that XFX is about to launch is really awesome and deserves our attention because of its unique vibration function. Just like a gamepad with vibration function, this headset vibrates with explosions and other sound effects. Really cool. Some games, like Battlefield 2, are coming with voice over IP (VoIP) function that enables you to talk with other players, but in order to use this function you need a headset with a microphone.

I actually bought one of this headset, and I am very satisfied - the bass and vibration is fantastic and beats my friends' Altec Lansing and Plantronics, especially with Quake4 which is my favorite

I only know XFX to be a graphics card maker before, now I think I'll look seriously into them for other gaming products.
