    Gigabyte K8N51PVMT-9 Review

Posted on Wednesday, November 30 2005 @ 16:31:10 CET by LSDsmurf

This is their nForce 430/GeForce 6150 combo board with integrated video.

Starting with nForce 430 and GeForce 6150 gives Gigabyte the best integrated video chipset solution to start with. We like that they include 4 memory slots, and that also a 1X PCI E slot is included. Having 8 channel audio and Gigabit Ethernet is a must for a good multimedia box, and Firewire is a definite bonus when transferring files from video cameras or external hard drives. We really like the SATA cable port brackets that should keep any breakage off the board from occurring. The included utilities and software could also come in handy. We certainly are happy to see the component video output which we tested on our LCD TV.
