    NEC MultiSync LCD1970VX Review

Posted on Thursday, December 29 2005 @ 03:25:45 CET by LSDsmurf

MacWolrd checked out the 19-inch LCD1970VX LCD display from NEC, here's a short snip from their full test report:

Setting up the 1970VX is easy. It features an adjustable stand that can be raised and lowered, tilted, swiveled from left to right, and even rotated into a portrait mode. When I connected it to a Mac via the digital input, the monitor automatically showed its native SXGA (Super Extended Graphics Array) resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. Like many displays, its default colors looked a little blue. However, using the onscreen controls, I was able to get a more neutral appearance. A hardware calibrator did an even better job of balancing the monitor’s colors.
