Since the slow and painful dwindling death of high performance memory such as Winbond's BH5, us overclockers have been searching for something, a certain type of memory that given the right amount of voltage will again put out those incredibly low latencies at stupidly high timings. While the UTT chips utilized within the modules we have on our test bench today have been out for a while now, staking claims to fame with OCZ's VX and Mushkin's Redline lines, the gamers have been left on the short end of the stick. This is where the GX - Gamer's eXtreme memory we're looking at today comes in. With the promise of low latencies with reasonable voltages, how can we resist? Dive in and find out just how fast these modules can go!
