Mice only get more and more advanced - the advent of optical technology spurred a huge exodus away from traditonal "ball" mice, even if some of them had some technical issues. While optical mice got to be way better than any ball mouse could ever be, all of the major manufacturers of mice have moved ahead to even newer technology: lasers. Microsoft's got a few laser mice on the market now, two of which are wireless versions. Today, I'm going to look at the wireless notebook version, which packs most of the great features of the desktop version into a smaller casing as well as a smaller price tag.
