Tagan EasyCon 580W Modular PSU Review

Posted on Wednesday, February 15 2006 @ 20:33:20 CET by LSDsmurf

Overall, the Tagan TG580-U15 is a decent power supply and it comes packed with feature. The power cables were completely sleeved and Tagan also took the extra initiative to shield the two PCI-E and HDD cables. The package was also decent and I really like the high quality power cord, Velcro and molex protection caps. Nevertheless, it all boils down to the performance which matters the most. We expected to see more from Tagan and their TG580-U15 isn't delivering. Although the +12V rail was struggling to keep up with our overclocked system, we could run our system throughout the test without any hick ups or crashes. In fact, Tagan should deserve the credits as we experience zero system stabilities issues.
