As this card is not a high-end card you do not have a loud fan running on it. I personally had some problems with an x850xt which would not fit into a barebone due to the big fan so this might be a good choice for a barebone setup. The heatsink and fan covers the core on the card and cools it off. Something remarkable is that even under overclocking and long time use the heatsink does not even get hot which helps you to run a more stable card and also get a longer lifetime on it.
