Thermalright's copper P4 heatpipe cooler Review

Posted on Monday, May 03 2004 @ 17:05:43 CEST by LSDsmurf

Just bought yourself an Intel Pentium 4 Prescott? Hot bugger ain't it? That is where the Thermalright SP-94 Heatsink comes in. With the same fin/heatpipe design of the SP-97, but with a different base, the SP-94 is the King of Thermalight's arsenal for the Pentium 4. Made of solid copper, the base is soldered to the fins with the heatpipes in-between. The heatpipes are used to carry liquid that evaporates to the top then condenses and falls back to the base in liquid form, repeating this cycle over and over again.
