    HighPoint RocketRAID 1820A Review

Posted on Tuesday, May 04 2004 @ 17:39:59 CEST by LSDsmurf

While I've been out 'playing' on Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee, the folks back here on ClubOC have been hard at work on some serious reviewage. Scott has got a HighPoint RAID setup that utilizes up to eight Serial ATA drives and is capable of RAID 5 and 10 operation. Based on a 64-bit PCI interface, this card is for high performance server systems rather than your average desktop system. He takes aim at a comparable SCSI setup and tries to dethrone the performance king. See how results went by reading his review!
