These huge aluminium heatsink are anodised black. Will black heatsink helps in cooling? Probably not. But look at the numerous fins on the Tagan heatsink, they will surely create a large surface area for the heatsink to loose heat quickly. The position of the heatsink and direction of the fins allows the fan to remove the heat as fast as possible. The direction of the fan is placed such that air will draw in from the right and exhaust from the left, removing hot air from the casing and PSU.
