    Thermalright SLK-948U Review

Posted on Tuesday, May 04 2004 @ 17:40:46 CEST by LSDsmurf

Thermalright has revamped the latest of their SLK series heatsinks to include the mounting hardware to accommodate AMD-64 processors. Keeping with Universal tradition of allowing the heatsink to be used with Intel processors as well, the SLK-948U leans quite hard on previous SLK model design. Able to operate with a wide variety of cooling fans, the SLK-948U is competing hard for the spot on top of your CPU. I tested this unit with four different fans and even came up with a creative way to use the Vantec Tornado. Read the review to see how it did.
