The thing that stands out most in the spec chart is the massive ammount of onboard video memory. With a whopping 256MB, the EAX1300PRO has as much memory available as cards 4 times it's price! The catch is that the memory on the EAX1300PRO is DDR2 and therefor it naturally runs at a slower speed than more desireable GDDR3 that is found on the higher-end cards. The desireable thing about DDR2 though is that it allows the cards to be produced cheaper and, thus, a cheaper total cost for the end user. Also, unlike the higher end cards, the X1300Pro only has a 128 bit wide memory interface..
