    Asus A8R32-MVP motherboard Review

Posted on Thursday, March 30 2006 @ 21:47:59 CEST by LSDsmurf

This thing is an amazing board, and we managed in to hit a stable 350Mhz Hypertransport bus overclock testing!! The A8R32-MVP's general motherboard performance is directly on-par with the established top-dogs, including the DFI LANParty nF4 SLI-DR and ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe, and it has proven itself extremely reliable. While we're on the topic of performance, I'm going to point out that the A8R32-MVP is still only in line with a one-year-old motherboard. The performance records set by the DFI board a year ago have yet to really be beaten by any board we've seen out there. Given all of ATI's design choices in the RD580, and ASUS' design experience, there simply isn't a dramatic leap in performance over year-old chipsets and hardware.
