Matrix Orbital MX512 4x20 VFD Review

Posted on Saturday, May 08 2004 @ 13:07:33 CEST by LSDsmurf

The fifteen button overlay is quite a large step up from the previous 7 keyed ones; for those confused few out there counting, yes the Matrix Orbital logo in the top left is a button as well. Although none of these are necessary to make the display function they come in quite handy providing your display is mounted within arms reach. Apart from the obvious pre-coded Winamp and volume control applications these keys can also be custom mapped to your liking. I for one, use them to switch between various informational screens while in games or watching DVD's. All of the custom mapping is easily accomplished via the included LCDC software
