Megapixel checked out this digital camera and wrote: "To the right of the shutter release and zoom control, a small button serves to control the Mega O.I.S. — the name Panasonic has given to the optical image stabilizer. The reality of digital cameras is that both their compact size, and the fact that we tend to rely on the LCD monitor to frame shots — ideal for framing but which requires outstretched arms to see the screen — increase the likelihood of camera shake ruining the shot.."
