EverCool Super Silent HPB-C715 Cooler Review

Posted on Tuesday, May 18 2004 @ 21:38:25 CEST by LSDsmurf

Recently there have been some major changes in heatsink technology. But I’m not referring to the materials used, since copper and aluminum are still the standard. I’m referring to the heatsink size and mainly fan placement. The traditional heatsink that most of us have grown to love featured a single fan blowing air straight down toward the heatsink and processor. Today’s cutting edge heatsink is almost twice the size of its predecessor and can have one or two fans blowing air not straight down but across. In today’s review we will be taking a look at one such heatsink from EverCool, the Super Silent HPB-C715.
