    Gigabyte's nForce3 250 AMD64 board Review

Posted on Wednesday, May 26 2004 @ 23:27:26 CEST by LSDsmurf

It's true, you're not going to go from your Barton 3200+ to an Athlon64 2800+ and see a huge jump. But where the Barton core maxes out, the Athlon64 core takes over. Once the GA-K8NSNXP matures you'll see some wicked overclocks, especially with the Athlon64 2800+ as you have seen on some other boards like MSI's and EPoX's nF3 250-based boards. What else is enticing about this board? The options. Gigabyte has gone the extra mile on every part of this motherboard. The 6 Phase power system, Serial ATA, and 7.1 Channel sound are just the tip of a very large iceberg. There's plenty more in store where those came from.
