    Transcend DDR500 PC4000 Memory (2x 256) Review

Posted on Sunday, May 30 2004 @ 18:01:51 CEST by LSDsmurf

When you think about high-performance memory, there are a few names that come to mind: Corsair, Geil, OCZ, etc. For most people Transcend is not among these names so I was quite surprised to hear that they produce some very high speed memory in addition to their other products such as USB and Flash devices. In the past we have been able to look at high speed memory from Corsair, up to TWINX PC4000. Today we will have two 256 MB sticks of Transcend's PC4000 on the table and in the test-rig. We will find out how well they perform and how they stack up to the current leaders in the market.
