At the end of the 2006 CTIA show last April, we chose the Sony Ericsson K790a as the best cell phone of the show. Since we don't get the opportunity to put all the new handsets we see at shows through a full range of tests, there's always a danger that our favorite picks will wind up as lemons once they hit the real world. In this case, however, we're happy to report that for the second year in a row, our first impressions were correct.
