Western Digital 6GB Passport Pocket Drive Review

Posted on Tuesday, August 01 2006 @ 11:57:25 CEST by LSDsmurf

Portable file storage is a field which is undergoing rapid advances every year. While burning information to DVD is still cheap and effective there are a number of other options which are viable, depending on the circumstances. This review will be taking a look at Western Digital's PassPort Pocket drive, a 6GB USB hard drive. This drive is just a little bit larger than the average USB flash 'stick' but has a much higher capacity. This device offers a size which is competitive with a DVD data disc, but is completely reusable and, because it has a USB interface, will work with any computer.
