CivCity: Rome may share the same publisher as the popular Civilization series, but rather than being another version of the same series, CivCity: Rome is a Roman-themed city builder game. Unlike other run-of-the-mill city builders, this game attempts at introducing you to the Roman Empire with some historical facts. The menu layout is unique, with your status report being represented with smiley faces that measures the happiness level of your citizens. With relatively simple missions early on to introduce you to the gameplay, the game starts out quite simply and has less of a learning curve than normal.
