Foxconn 975X7AB-8EKRS2H (Intel 975X Express - Core 2 Ready) Review

Posted on Saturday, October 14 2006 @ 01:00:45 CEST by LSDsmurf

If this year's Computex was any indication, Foxconn is seriously aiming high in the enthusiast component market. Not only have they put pressure on top-tier motherboard manufacturers such as ASUS with their own retail branded motherboards, they're bull headed about getting into the graphics card market as well. Sponsoring such international gaming events such as KODE5, Foxconn is also making inroads into the gaming community. In light of this, we've decided to take a closer look at one of their top end motherboards for the Intel platform, the 975X7AB-8EKRS2H. This board is actually Foxconn's second attempt at the Intel 975X Express chipset (the first being the 975X7AA), which now includes Core 2 processor support as well.
