AeroCool VM-101 Fanless VGA Cooler Review

Posted on Tuesday, July 06 2004 @ 17:12:57 CEST by LSDsmurf

AeroCool has responded to increased consumer interest in fanless cooling solutions with their new Video Magic series fanless VGA cooler. The VM-101 video card cooler incorporates heat pipe technology to transfer heat away from the graphics processing unit (GPU) to a large array of aluminum fins, which the manufacturer claims can passively dissipate up to 70 watts of heat. The VM-101 can be used on both NVIDIA and ATI Radeon video cards up to and including the GeForce FX5900 and Radeon 9800 Pro.
