Another day and another GeForce 7950 GT 512MiB graphics card. If we didn't know any better, and perhaps we don't ;), I'd be inclined to think that NVIDIA's AIB partners were looking to draw attention to and shift as many current high-end DX9 7-series graphics cards as possible before DX10 SKUs become pervasive. That's why, dear reader, we've seen a number of G71s pass through the labs in past couple of weeks. Some have been boring and clocked in at reference speeds.
