Too much hardware has been recently launched for Legit Reviews to benchmark in such a short period of time, so we took all the products and built one killer test machine with a price tag pushing north of $4,000. The hardware is the best money can by and this is one of the only articles on the web showing a pair of XFX GeForce 8800 GTX graphics cards running in SLI. We also included the just released Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor QX6700 and the Corsair PC2-9136C5D DOMINATOR memory kit from Corsair to top off the eVGA 680i SLI motherboard and pair of XFX GeForce 8800 GTX graphics cards.

"Using the NVIDIA Forceware 96.97 drivers on the pair of XFX GeForce 8800 GTX's was an awesome experience and I can't wait for improved drivers come out to improve performance even more. The test system would run the opening scene from the first game test in 3DMark06 at over 112FPS, which is something you got to see to believe! When it came to power consumption with out system overclocked and running gaming benchmarks we saw the system peak above 600W just once, so the 750W power supply requirement is no joke."
