    Plextor PX-712A (ATAPI) and PX-712SA (SATA) 12X DVD+/-R- RW Optical Drive Review

    If you are interested in high speed DVD burning capabilities along with soaring CD burning speeds well you better fasten you seat belts! Plextor Corp. has unleashed two of their newest DVD+/-RW units with blistering performance. The PX-712A (ATAPI) 12X DVD+/-RW internal optical drive and the PX-712SA (SATA) 12X DVD+/-RW. Now at a quick glance they look the same, however the PX-712SA is their new optical drive sporting the long awaited Serial ATA interface. Today well will be taking a close look at both of these drives and hopefully we don’t get pulled over for speeding
