    Samsung D840 Review

Posted on Wednesday, December 20 2006 @ 19:52:13 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

These two models have a lot in common, so that figuring out that the D900 and the D840 are in fact two different handsets is possible only when holding them both in hands. The manufacturer claims that the D840 measures a tiny 11.9 mm in thickness, which is even thinner than the counterpart of the flagship – 12.9 mm. But there are no miracles in this world, and that is why the junior solution is not actually that thin throughout the casing – the camera module sticks out a little, giving the handset its peak, which is 14 mm deep. The same also holds true for Samsung X820. Furthermore, these two models are brothers in arms not only in the sense of the thickness trick used, but in terms of hardware filling as well.
