Zalman CNPS9700 NT CPU Cooler Review

Posted on Wednesday, December 27 2006 @ 00:35:05 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

If you've been reading Virtual-Hideout, or any PC hardware review site, for even a short while, you've most likely heard the name Zalman by now. Zalman is a world leader is quiet and powerful PC cooling solutions. We've reviewed many Zalman products here on VH over the years (from cases to coolers to watercooling) and today I have the newest CPU cooler out of the Zalman stable; the Zalman CNPS9700 NT Ultra Quiet CPU Cooler. The CNPS9700 NT is a reworked (and huge!) design based off the slightly smaller CNPS9500 CPU Cooler. It's like they say, "if it aint broke, don't fix it!". The CNPS9500 has been heralded as one of the best air cooling CPU coolers ever to grace our PC's and now the larger 9700 promises ever better performance for less noise. Let's take a look at the specifications of this beast before we get to the mass amounts of pictures I have for you!
