    Not every PC buyer wants to or needs to pay big bucks for performance. AMD introduces Sempron to meet the performance needs of the budget buyer and just when you thought Socket A was dead; it isn't. Sempron is two processors. Rather it is the adaptation of two technologies based in Socket A and Socket 754. To understand what Sempron is to understand who Sempron is for.
