    Ultra X-Pro 750W Review

Posted on Thursday, March 29 2007 @ 16:51:59 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Ultra Products is a little bit different company than our first two evaluations (BFG and Corsair ) in that from their inception they have marketed a wide range of PC components. One of those product lines has been their power supply offerings that had great initial acceptance due in large parts to their good looks and their mass marketing of the modular concept. Today we are beginning our examination of a smattering of Ultra products encompassing varying facets of their X-Pro line of branded power supplies. The first X-Pro power supply we will be looking at is the Ultra X-Pro 750W (ULT-750P), which is a limited run power supply of only a few thousand units. For the X-Pro series of power supplies Ultra uses various OEM’s to fit whichever feature/performance set they are aiming at and today the X-Pro 750w we are looking at is provided by Seventeam.
