    SteelSeries SteelPad 5L Mousepad Review

Posted on Monday, April 30 2007 @ 17:01:36 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

SteelSeries SteelPad 5L Mousepad. This pad is not steel, nor is it a standard cloth or hard surface pad. It is a hybrid that offers over 1000 cm2 of space for your mouse to roam freely. If you want some surface area, and want a pad that is gentle on your mouse feet, this pad is worth a look. Take a look at our full review for all the details.

The SteelSeries SteelPad 5L is the newest pad from SteelSeries that combines the smoothness of a cloth pad with the durabilty of a hard plastic pad. SteelSeries has put together the 5L using 5 different layers of materials that culminate into a very nice pad. Although there is a cloth component in this pad, you can't tell by feeling the top surface that it is cloth. If you like the feel of cloth pad, but want the ability to wipe off coffee spills, the SteelPad 5L can make it happen. Overall, I've very impressed with this pad, and it actually bumped the QcK from my desk as my main pad. . .
