MGE Vigor 500W UV Sleeved Power Supply Review

Posted on Tuesday, August 10 2004 @ 13:35:16 CEST by LSDsmurf

couple of years ago when you thought of a power supply unit, a picture of a gray metal box with ugly wires coming out of it probably would have popped into your mind. Nowadays, power supply units are as much as a conversation piece as they are a device for powering your computer. You can buy power supplies with multiple LED colored fans in it, sleeved cables, and even plexi glass windows in them to see the insides! Today we're going to take a look at the MGE Vigor500 power supply unit, which includes all of those features! This new power supply unit has dual LED fans, sata connections, UV sleeved cables, two blue acrylic windows, UV blue molex connectors, variable fan controller, and it's enclosed in a shinny chrome housing. Let's take a closer look at the Vigor 500 to see if it’s anything more than just a pretty package.
