Two 250GB Hitachi 7K250 Serial ATA drives in RAID_0 Review

Posted on Tuesday, December 23 2003 @ 09:47:20 CET by LSDsmurf

When I finished my review of a single Hitachi 7K250 hard drive a few months ago, I immediately knew that I had a winner on my hands. Better yet, after the success of the Maxtor RAID_0 article, I knew that I had to try the same setup with this drive and see what could happen. The result of this experiment was quite surprisiing. Some aspects of the drive were showcased by the RAID setting, while other attributes didn't fare as well. The numbers don't lie, especially not when they're in the spotlight of this article.
