    Samsung BD-P1200 Blu-ray Player Review

Posted on Thursday, September 27 2007 @ 12:52:34 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Samsung's BD-P1200 is a step forward and a slight step back. Sure it now carries the new HDMI v1.3 standard, but it fails to take full advantage of what the new specification has to offer. In addition, although a lot of the bugs were worked out, some of the functionality was removed as well. The BD-P1000 had a handy memory card reader which would be great for people wanted to view their photos and video files seamlessly on their HDTV. The BD-P1200 has that functionality stripped away.
