Novint Falcon Limited Edition input device Review
|
Posted on Friday, December 07 2007 @ 11:51:16 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck |
The Novint Falcon is one of the most impressive and compelling devices we've ever tested - a multi-axis, motion sensitive, force feedback controller for games like Half-Life 2 that allows gamers feel textures, weight and forces in the game world. We take the newest model out for a spin.
Quote:
"The Falcon is a fantastic game controller, although I still think a few kinks need to be ironed out. With the circular grip we used the Falcon quickly became painful to use unless you had a lot of desk space to spread out on, for example. Several of us ended up almost up-ending the Falcon completely with some over-enthusiastic swings, for example.
